COMMENTS:

* But right now my main focus is on our residential streets and these hideous oversized 5 story buildings that crowd their neighbors, are ugly as sin, and rents are skyrocket. I still want to know if our neighborhood is currently zoned for 5 story buildings!

* Status of new 5 story apartment buildings in Pico-Roberston area

I hope someone can answer this for me. As you know there was one 5 story apartment building built in the Pico Robertson area and took a few years to build. It’s an eyesore and so tall it does not fit into our neighborhood.

I have noticed that the same company that built is has at least two other properties ( one on South Corning St.) slated to build another hideous 5 story apartment building. No work has been started on it even though it as sat empty and abandoned for quite a while.

I was told that the city of Los Angeles has rescinded or stop allowing the building of 5 story buildings in our area. Is this true? Does anyone have any info on this. I hope it true and that this builder can not build this and the others he has slated.
