The Coyote Returns

Comment: The coyote reported last week (Monday, Jul 17) was spotted again last night (Wednesday, Jul 26) in the Halm Street/Cadillac area at approximately midnight. If you’re going to the meeting about coyote sightings tonight (I will be at work), would you please report tomorrow about what was said? I would be particularly interested in (1) can they jump fences?; (2) if so, how high?; and (3) what deterrents can we use that will be effective in keeping them away? I am assuming, based on previous posts, that Animal Services will not be out looking for this coyote with a view towards capturing and relocating him. In other words, I believe their position is, we’re on our own.
