Two Lanes Of Olympic Blvd Westbound Closed For Two Weeks At Century Park East

Every weekday I drive down Olympic, anticipating that the Department of Public Works is finished messing around with the street and every day I’m wrong and as a consequence, I’m late for work. There was only one person working today but still they had two lanes ruled off. This reminds me of Chris Christie’s administration’s malicious gumming up of traffic on a bridge in New Jersey. For two weeks, these two lanes have been shut down in the morning commute westbound and the workers, when there are any, are sure taking their sweet time. Tens of thousands of people are late to work and their lives are disrupted. I went to the website, http://dpw.lacity.org/, and there’s no easy way to ask what’s up.
