Man Shot, Killed In South Robertson Just Standing In A Driveway

There are all sorts of bad element, bad gangbangers, thieves and the like hanging out and walking around south of Pico Blvd near Robertson in zip code 90035. These are areas I’ve been checking out to rent a room or a guest house or a studio apartment.

I’ve had friends and acquaintances held up at knife point by gangbangers in Pico-Robertson. Sometimes people are just walking home on Shabbat and they’re assaulted. Cars are broken into by these same scum.

SOUTH ROBERTSON, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — An investigation is under way in South Robertson after a man was found shot in a driveway late Sunday night.

Authorities say the man was found near the 1700 block of Preuss Road just before midnight. He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he died.

There’s no word yet on what may have led up to the shooting or whether police have any suspects in custody.

Detectives say the man was not from the area and may have been walking to work.
