Israel Needs Our Help

Rabbi Elazar Muskin emails his members:

I just received a call from Dovid Cohen of Jerusalem who runs the Israel Chessed Fund that we constantly support throughout the year. Dovid, together with a lifetime friend, runs one of the most amazing Tzedakah funds in the world. Every penny that they receive is distributed to the needy (every case they support is checked and verified for authenticity). There is no administrative over head at all. Dovid and his friend volunteer their time to runnning this fund. They literally distribute millions of dollars a year and they are trusted by rabbis throughout the world (Rabbi Berle Wein personally endorses their work).

Dovid informed me that due to the battle in Gaza large numbers of people have moved from southern Israel to Jerusalem for refuge. These families are in desperate need of financial help.

With God’s help I will be traveling to Israel on Tuesday January 13th and I will be seeing Dovid during my trip. If you are interested in participating in this important act of Tzedakah please send in checks ASAP to the Shul office written to YICC G’Mach and earmarked for “Israel Chessed Fund.” I hope to present Dovid with a sizeable check to help in this time of crisis.

May all of our Tefilot be answered and may Israel be victorious against its enemies.

Thank you,
Elazar Muskin
